Abstract
Teachers' ability to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is essential in the digital era, yet only about 60% of Indonesian teachers feel comfortable using technology for instruction. This community service activity aimed to improve the competence of junior secondary ICT teachers in the Lima Puluh Kota Regency ICT Teachers' Working Group (MGMP) in using Canva AI to create creative, interactive learning materials. Conducted over two days (6-7 September 2024) at UPTD SMPN 3 Harau, the program involved 30 teachers through socialization, two-stage intensive training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and formation of a sustainable learning community. Results showed 80% of participants mastered Canva AI's basic features and 70% produced creative, innovative learning materials, with increased confidence in integrating digital technology. The activity also produced a teacher learning community and received local media coverage, confirming that Canva AI training effectively improves ICT teachers' digital competence in areas with limited infrastructure.
